How we handle your information.

This website is operated by CLFD Pty Ltd trading as Human Powered (ABN 70 688 215 803) — referred to here as “we”, “us”, and “our”. We provide AI integration and automation consulting to Australian businesses. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information responsibly and in line with our obligations under applicable Australian law.

Information you give us. When you complete a form, request a booking, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, business name, email address, phone number, and details about your business and the challenges you’d like help with. Our forms change from time to time, so we collect whatever information a form asks for at the time you use it.

Please don’t include sensitive information — such as health details, financial account numbers, or government identifiers — in free-text fields. If you do, it will be handled under this policy and may be processed using the tools described in this document.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, we collect standard technical and usage data — such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you interact with the site — using cookies and analytics and advertising tools.

Meetings. If you book a call with us, we may record, transcribe, or take notes of the meeting using AI tools to help us follow up and deliver our services.

We use your personal information to:

• respond to your enquiry and tell you about our services;
• arrange and conduct bookings, calls and meetings;
• deliver, manage and improve our services;
• send you marketing communications where you’ve consented or are an existing customer (you can opt out at any time — see section 5);
• run, measure and improve our website and advertising; and
• meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who help us run our business, including providers of:

• website hosting and infrastructure;
• customer relationship management and data storage;
• payment processing;
• accounting and invoicing;
• website analytics and online advertising;
• communication, scheduling and meeting tools; and
• AI services that help us respond to enquiries and deliver our work.

These providers only handle your information to provide their services to us.

Some of our AI processing happens on infrastructure we control here in Australia; some is provided by overseas AI services, mainly in the United States. AI does not make decisions about you on our behalf.

Overseas. Some of our service providers are located overseas — primarily in the United States, and in some cases other countries. Where we use overseas providers, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely and under appropriate agreements.

If you’ve enquired with us or are an existing customer, we may send you marketing emails. Every marketing email identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link — you can opt out at any time and we’ll stop. We don’t send marketing to people who haven’t consented or don’t have an existing relationship with us.

We also advertise online. To do this, we may share limited contact information (such as your email address) with advertising platforms so we can show our ads to you and reach other people with similar characteristics — known as “custom” and “lookalike” audiences. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your account or ad settings on the relevant platform, and through your browser settings.

We don’t collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled directly by our payment processor under its own terms and security standards.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising — to understand how the site is used and to measure and target our marketing. You can:

• control or disable cookies through your browser settings;
• opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s opt-out browser add-on; and
• manage ad personalisation through the settings of the relevant advertising platforms.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including using reputable service providers and access controls. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we work to protect your information.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it:

• Enquiries that don’t become clients: up to 24 months from last contact.
• Client records: 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet tax and record-keeping requirements.
• Payment records: 7 years.
• Website analytics: in line with our analytics provider’s retention settings.

When we no longer need your information, we delete or de-identify it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — just email privacy@humanpowered.au and we’ll help. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information and we can’t resolve it together, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date are shown at the top and bottom of this page.
