I came to AI from the same situation as you.
Before Human Powered I spent about fifteen years in sales and operations across Australian businesses. I co-founded New Way Business Development, spent eight years as a national sales and marketing manager in industrial equipment, and before that I sold cars on the Gold Coast. I picked up an MBA and a psychology degree along the way.
That mix is what makes the AI I build actually fit. I understand how your business runs because I have run one, and I know how to build AI that does the real work, not the kind that just looks good in a demo. I started in my own business, automating the quoting, the follow-up, and the admin that never ends, and it worked. Now I build the same for other owner-operators. Everything I write about here is something I have built and run myself, so you are getting what works in a real business, not theory.
